ADAM Rosen Fund for desperate kitty cases
The Adam Rosen Fund has been established in 2020 in honor of our late volunteer and friend Adam Rosen, whom we loved very much. Adam, a huge cat lover, offered us Apple- and Mac-related tech support as well as generous donations throughout the years. His Fund, therefore, started with donations from Adam's friends and family members, is dedicated to helping cats who are going through life-threatening conditions that require paying a substantial vet bill. The higher the bill, the harder it is for us to cover it. Help us save cats who need an expensive vet bill paid to save their lives.
friends of tui Fund for older cats
Friends of Tui Fund for Older Cats helps elderly kitties (12 and over) with whatever needs they might have. It might be an expensive vet bill, boarding until their owner is back from the hospital, or a much-needed delivery of pet supplies. This Fund honors Tui the Cat, Ken Levine's cat of his life. Ken's enduring memory of the years he had with Tui include how he would sit on the arm of the easy chair every day before Ken came home and would jump down to greet him, meowing all the while. When he finally went to the rainbow bridge in 2015, at about the age of 22, his celebration of life party was attended by almost 20 of his biggest fans, featuring even 2 phone-in attendees who also shared memories of Tui. He touched many lives with his charisma, and we are happy his feline magic continues to bring relief and joy into this world to other cats and cat lovers who need a helping hand.
Liam’s Fund
Diabetic dogs can only live and have quality of life with constant and diligent care, as well as considerable funds. Liam’s Fund was created in 2016 to financially support low-income families who are struggling to cover the (very expensive) treatment and control of diabetes in their dogs. The fund was established with resources from The Deirdre Dickinson Memorial Fund, in honor of Ms. Dickinson's nephew, Liam, as have been extending the lives of dos in need since then.
Phinney’s Ride Fund
Phinney’s Ride is a non-competitive ride (bike, car, motorcycle or any type of ride) that takes place every year to raise funds for low-income pet parents living with HIV or AIDS. Anyone can sign up! Every other year, Phinney's counts on at least one group of riders who travel a total of 80 miles in two days, raising over $15,000. You can add to that number by participating next time! This Fund covers regular vet checks, pet supplies and much-needed vet care and boarding bills for eligible pet owners.
